1. Who we are
WAGBI is a service of Mario Schraepen GCV, Trompetterstraat 6, 3530 Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium, company number (KBO) and VAT BE 0845.537.122 ("WAGBI", "we"). We are the controller for the personal data described here. For any question about it, email hello@wagbi.eu.
WAGBI will become a company of its own. When that happens, we'll update this notice and tell the people whose details we hold.
2. What this notice covers
- visits to wagbi.eu;
- pilot requests, through the form on this site or by email;
- accounts in the business portal, app.wagbi.eu.
It doesn't cover drivers' data. Drivers decide what to share in the WAGOI app, and the WAGOI Privacy Policy applies to that. When your company receives vehicle data through WAGBI, the agreement your company accepts in the portal sets out who is responsible for what.
3. Visiting wagbi.eu
No cookies and no ads. Fonts and images come from our own server.
Like any web server, ours keeps an access log: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent. We use it to keep the site running and secure (our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and delete it after 14 days.
To see how the site is used, we count visits with PostHog in cookieless mode, on its EU servers. Nothing is stored on your device. PostHog records the pages you view, what you click, the site you came from, your browser and device type, and an anonymous identifier that it works out from your IP address and browser details. That identifier changes every day, so you can't be followed from one day to the next. If you send a pilot request, we also count that it happened and the sector you chose, never your name or email. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep these statistics for at most 12 months.
4. Pilot requests
What we collect: your name, work email, company, sector, your message and when you sent it.
Why: to answer your request and talk with you about the pilot. Nothing else: we don't put you on a newsletter and don't use your details for marketing without asking you first.
Legal basis: your consent, given with the checkbox in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time. If you email us directly, our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Where it goes: the form is handled by Brevo, which keeps your details in our pilot list and notifies us. Our mailbox hello@wagbi.eu runs on Google Workspace.
How long: as long as we're in touch about the pilot, and at most 24 months after our last contact. If your company joins, the agreement with your company applies from then on.
5. Business portal accounts
What we collect: your work email, the company and roles you were invited with, who invited you and when, when you accepted and last used the portal, and security records of your sign-ins.
Why: to sign you in, show you your company's workspace and keep a record of what happens under your company's agreements.
Legal basis: the agreement with your company and our legitimate interest in a secure, auditable service (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Where it goes: our servers at IONOS in Germany. Sign-in links are emailed through Brevo. Error reports go to Sentry and can include technical details of a failed request.
How long: as long as your account exists. Records of what happened under an agreement are kept as long as that agreement and the law require.

We don't sell personal data and don't share it with advertisers.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@wagbi.eu; we reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be) or to the authority in the country where you live or work.
8. Changes
When we change this notice, we update the date at the top. If a change affects you, we'll tell you by email first.
